Former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Lisa-Wu Hartwell has officially split from husband of 5 years, retired NFL pro Ed Hartwell. She took to her twitter on Saturday (August 20) to confirm the news. Reports circulated that the split was over financial issues but Wu made it clear that was NOT the case. "Sadly. We r separated but wld NEVER b over money. That is so far frm the truth. Wish ppl cld respect ppl's privacy during times like these," she tweeted.

Despite the breakup, the two will remain close to support their son. The couple have a 3-year-old together, Ed Jr. Wu also has two children from a previous marriage to singer Keith Sweat. Moving forward, both have made changes to their "networking profiles". Ed changed his status to "separated" on his Facebook page and Wu switched back to her maiden name on Twitter.

In other news, singer Keyshia Cole and husband Daniel "Boobie" Gibson are lending a helping hand. Today, (August 22) 300 Inner City children will gather at Tower City Center in Cleveland to receive free hair cuts, hairstyles and school supplies courtesy of The Daniel Gibson & Keyshia Cole Foundation. The 5th Annual Braids and Fades event hosted by Radio One Cleveland in conjunction of the Foundation offers free donated services from top barbers and hairstylists as well as backpacks filled with supplies for a great cause. "So many parents are struggling in this economy and we are so blessed to be able to partner with Keyshia, Boobie and Villa to be able to assist them and take some of the back to school stress off," says Colby Colb of Radio One Cleveland.
