A emotionally shaken up Nicki Minaj took home the awards for Favorite Rap/Hip Hop Album [Pink Friday] and Favorite Rap/Hip Hop Artist last night at the 2011 American Music Awards. Beating out Jay-Z and Kanye West's Watch The Throne and label mate Lil Wayne's Tha Carter IV for Favorite Album, Nicki was definitely overwhelmed as she accepted the award presented by Taylor Swift with a speech that solidified her emotional state. “This one could actually make me cry. I can’t believe this is happening,” she said tearing up. “Again, I have to thank God and I have to thank Lil Wayne because without him, I would not be here.”

Nicki again beat out Kanye and Lil Wayne for the Favorite Artist award. “There’s so much love in this room. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for this love. I didn’t think I would win it. There’s power in your peace, hold your peace.”

As for Nicki's emsemble choice, the ever so eccentric rapper opted for black and green dress by Oscar De La Renta, which comes from the Summer/Spring 2012 line.
